At the height of his success, Donald Deskey had homes around the world including New York, Florida and Scotland. And a beloved Yorkshire Terrier that he was not about to put in mandatory quarantine when going home meant crossing the Atlantic Ocean. So Donald did what any crafty caninophile would do and hid the terrier in his wife’s purse for overseas flights. We can’t speak to what else Mrs. Deskey found in her purse upon arrival, but we think it explains why, to this day, dogs are treated like family at Deskey and why we were one of the first dog-friendly offices in Cincinnati. It’s in our pedigree.
