Design Intern — Summer 2023

Deskey, a woman-owned and led branding agency based in Cincinnati, is looking for a smart, creative, and highly motivated Design Intern to join our award-winning team. We are looking for a candidate with an outstanding portfolio, excellent communication skills, and an eagerness to learn as much as they can about design and branding. You must thrive working with a diverse team of creative directors, designers, client managers, and brand strategists. We love our work, are constantly inspired by our team, and strive always to lift each other.

As a fully immersed member of the team, you will participate in projects from conception to completion. You will be assigned a mentor and asked to provide a range of design solutions for our clients, both Fortune 500s and startup brands in industries including consumer packaged goods, non-profits, and corporations. This will be across both print and digital platforms, with a strong focus on branding and package design. 

Job Details

• This is a full-time role at 40hrs/week for Summer 2023
• Hybrid (one day in our downtown office and four days virtual)
• Open to fully virtual for the right candidate

 Required Experience and Skills

• We are looking for college students (juniors-seniors) majoring in graphic design or the equivalent of real-world experience specific to branding, package design, print design, and digital design 
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
• Experience with motion graphics, digital marketing, and social media is a plus
• Exceptional design, verbal, organizational, and time management skills
• Skilled as a supportive, communicative team player at ease giving and taking constructive criticism
• Experience in Keynote and designing presentations is a plus
